Murray Downs Farm has been in the same family for over four generations and is currently owned and operated by Sarah Rodie and her family. The farm operates across nearly 650ha as a pedigree breeding and finishing farm for Texel Sheep and Murray Grey Cattle.
We take pride in raising healthy, high-quality livestock, utilizing sustainable farming practices to ensure the best outcomes for our herd and the land.
Our Breeding Philosophy
Our Murray Grey breeding program focuses on temperament, fertility, and meat quality. We supply pedigree cattle to farmers throughout Canterbury and wider New Zealand.
