Murray Downs Farm has been in the same family for over four generations and is currently owned and operated by Sarah Rodie and her family. The farm operates across nearly 650ha as a pedigree breeding and finishing farm for Texel Sheep and Murray Grey Cattle.
We pride ourselves on our intensive farming practices and the quality of our livestock. Beyond our breeding programmes, we also maintain Red Deer on-site for venison production. Our commitment to the highest standards of animal welfare and genetic excellence ensures we remain a leading livestock breeder in the Christchurch region.
