Murray Downs Farm has been in the same family for over four generations and is currently owned and operated by Sarah Rodie and her family. Located in the heart of Canterbury, the farm is a proud piece of New Zealand's agricultural heritage.
The farm operates across nearly 650ha as a pedigree breeding and finishing farm for Texel Sheep and Murray Grey Cattle. We also have Red Deer on site for venison production, making Murray Downs one of the most diverse working farms in the Canterbury region.
As members of both the NZ Sheep Breeders Association and the NZ Murray Grey Beef Cattle Society, we are committed to the highest standards of livestock breeding, animal welfare, and sustainable farming practice.
